The Owl Cake

So I made this ummm...owl cake...

While I love the blue, teal, and yellow colors... I'm displeased by the brown tree "I tried to paint on the bottom tier"...overall...better luck next time attempt but...

You can make mini cakes with a biscuit cutter! Mini cakes are good for practicing cake decor! 

Crumb coat and ice your mini cake before applying fondant.
